The Old Vicarage Bed and Breakfast is a delightful early Victorian house with many original features, spacious guest accommodation, modern en-suite facilities, ample free parking and free Wi-Fi. Located just a short stroll from Barnstaple’s historic town centre, the large secluded garden provides visitors with the feeling of staying in a peaceful countryside setting.

Each visitor to The Old Vicarage Bed and Breakfast is welcomed by us personally with homemade cake and fresh milk and you can look forward to a quiet night’s sleep in a well-appointed bedroom, followed by a tasty breakfast prepared with local ingredients in the morning.

We have reduced prices during  the winter period, when we also offer a discount of 10% on two (or more) night stays.   We are pleased to offer a 15% DISCOUNT  on stays of 3 nights or more during our main season in 2025 and have kept our prices the same as 2024.  Please phone for Single Night stays between March to October as these are not available to book via our website.

Double room with en-suite shower, king sized bed and two easy chairs.Please be aware that some of our rooms are on the second floor, let us know when booking if this may cause difficulty.We like all our guests at the Old Vicarage to feel very welcome, and provide many personal touches such as daily fresh milk and homemade cake.

Each suite has two bedrooms, one double and one single/twin, sharing an en-suite shower and separate en-suite toilet.Each room has it's own TV, easy chair and Tea and Coffee making facilities.Ideal for friends or colleagues who want their own space, but are happy to share. Please be aware that our suites are on the second floor up two sets of stairs.
